polo fleece hoodie Outlet stores reopening
QUEENSTOWN The stores at Prime Outlets at Queenstown that were closed when a February blizzard damaged their roofs are beginning to re open.
A dozen stores in two buildings were closed on Feb. 10 when the second of two blizzards within days of each other dumped heavy snow on the area.
The company said in a statement that Chesapeake Gourmet reopened on April 1 and that Polo Ralph Lauren and Timberland will reopen this Friday, May 7. The remaining stores Paper Factory, Nike, Juicy Couture, Michael Kors, Gymboree, Nine West, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger and Yankee Candle are expected to reopen in June.
The roofs of the affected stores are all being replaced, she said in an e mail. She did not provide any other details on the damage, but in March building inspector Mike Savage said some roofs had sagged noticeably under the weight of the heavy snow. He said at the time nothing had collapsed.
“As Prime Outlets is a private company, we are not able to release any cost information,” Helondovitch said in response to questions about the cost of the repairs and the financial impact of the closings.
