Three men and a woman have been charged over the theft and resale of high end designer clothing from a shop in Rosebery, in Sydney’s inner south last month.
Police were alerted to the theft via the store alarm system, when three men broke into the Dunning Avenue shop in the early hours of 29 December.
After investigations, police raided three homes this morning in Redfern, Marrickville and Surry Hills, and arrested three men aged 21,
22, and 23, and a woman aged 19.
The woman was charged with three counts of disposing of stolen property and dealing with the proceeds of crime. She was conditionally bailed and will front court on 5 February.
The men were charged with a slew of offences, including two counts each of aggravated breaking, entering and stealing.
The 22 year old man was granted conditional bail and will front court on 29 January, while the 23 year old man was refused bail and will front court today.
The 21 year old man was also charged with seven counts related to other breaking and entering and fraud offences. He was refused bail and will also appear in court today.
Police said some of the stolen clothing has been recovered,
but are asking anyone who comes across Camilla and Marc branded clothing being sold at suspiciously low prices to report it to police.
